The first ever Book Week Scotland, a national celebration of books and reading led by the Scottish Book Trust, takes place from 26 November to 2 December.

As part of the celebration, North East Writers and our partner organisations are presenting a series of book launch events featuring some of the most exciting new writers in the North-East.

Helen Elizabeth Ramsey's I Love You When is a collection of poetry for children, illustrated by Nicola Brand. Night Train by Catriona Yule is a collection of poetry and short stories, and Haseley Hinton's Song of the Seacrow is the second book in her sci-fi/fantasy trilogy.

North East Writers would like to offer thanks to the following partners, whose support has made this group of events possible:

Better Read Books
