Founded in 2003 as Dead Good Poets, Poetry Aberdeen has been run for seven years by Gerard Rochford. Gerard is now stepping down and handing the reins to the North East Writers team. We wish him well, and hope our regulars will continue to be stimulated and entertained by these monthly events.

The funeral of Annie Inglis

Annie's funeral takes place at 1pm on Monday at St Margaret's Church, with a video relay to Aberdeen Arts Centre. A celebration of her life will then continue into the evening.

Annie Inglis (1922–2010)

Castlegate Theatre School has announced the death of Annie Inglis.

Annie was a major force behind the performing arts in Aberdeen for longer than most of us can remember. She will be greatly missed by the many whose lives she touched.
